How to source with Sourcing Brain

 

Getting Setup

Before we get started, make sure your Smartr365 and Sourcing Brain accounts are linked from the ‘My Credentials’ section of your ‘Settings’ within Smartr365.

Sourcing

When you are ready to source for a case, open the case and visit the Sourcing tab.

Next, click into Sourcing Brain.

You have the option to begin your Sourcing Brain session using data found within the case or start a new session where you can rekey the data if desired.

Smartr365 will then let you know when your session is ready to start.  Click continue when you are ready to start which will open Sourcing Brain in a new browser tab.

Business as usual within Sourcing Brain. Complete any further details if required then click ‘Source’ from the bottom right corner. Then complete any additional details if required and click ‘Results’ from the bottom right corner.

A list of results will display from a range of Lenders.

Select your chosen product and click ‘Illustration’ from the bottom right corner.

Complete any additional details required like Proc Fees.

Once you are ready, click ‘Generate Illustration Documents’ from the bottom right corner.

Wait for the loading page to display “Client and documents saved OK”.

Once this is displayed, this product has now been saved from this session and will be available to view back in Smartr365.

You can click ‘Back to Results’ and repeat these steps and save as many products as you would like from this single session. All products saved will be displayed back in Smartr365 for you to choose on importing documents or writing the details to the case.

When you have finished your sourcing, go back to your Smartr365 tab and click ‘End session and retrieve products’

All saved products from your session will display as individual cards. Click into the card to display further details.

If you would like to add this product to the case, click the ‘Add to case’ button.

This will present options to download the documents of your choice and/or write the product details to the Mortgage case.

Tick the box for ‘import product’ if you wish to write the details of this product to your Mortgage case.

Tick the boxes for the documents you wish you add to the Client’s Document Store

You can complete this for each product if you wish to retrieve documents from multiple products.
