What is UinsureCX?

UinsureCX is a referral feature that automates the process of insurance for your clients at key moments in their mortgage journey to purchase a policy themselves, digitally. 

You will receive 17.5% referral commission for any policies purchased through UinsureCX. Payable one month after the policy is live and again each year if renewed.

If a referral has been submitted, the Client can opt-out at any time.

How does it work?

If UinsureCX is enabled on a Mortgage case, the referral will be submitted automatically when the Mortgage case reaches 'Pre-Offer Processing'. Your client will receive an automated email and SMS from Uinsure with a quote and link to buy their insurance online. As your client progresses through their mortgage journey and reach significant milestones, Uinsure will also remind your client about their quote, for example, at offer, exchange, and pre-completion.

The system is designed to differentiate between a remortgage, purchase, or first-time buyer and send timed communications accordingly to match the specific mortgage journey of each customer. When a referral is submitted, the Client, Property and Mortgage details are automatically included. This includes Residential or Buy-to-Let and Remortgage or Purchase.

As the system is automated, it is suggested that you only use UinsureCX for all standard Residential and Landlords insurance. If non-standard insurance is required for your Client, or there are any special considerations or needs to take into account, please refer your Client to Uinsure using the standard ‘Refer a client’ from http://www.uinsure.co.uk.

Tracking your client's progress

You can track the progress for each referral from the Summary screen of the Mortgage case, or by logging into your Uinsure Adviser Platform and navigating to the ‘Referral Progress’ section.

 

What is the Client experience?

Once referred, your Client will receive an automated email from Uinsure with a personalised home insurance quote for their property after around 30 minutes. Inside this email will be a link for your Client where they can ‘Progress Application’ or choose to ‘Opt-Out’.

The ‘Progress Application’ link will take them directly into the quote on the Uinsure website and they can further tailor their quote by changing the excess, choosing contents cover, adding customised high value items and add Home Emergency or Legal Protection Cover. The quote will update with each new item added.

Once they are happy with their coverage and ready to proceed, they can do so from the same webpage. They can complete the application themselves, set when they would like the policy to start and set how they would like to receive the documentation, either by email or post.

If the Client has not yet purchased insurance, and has not opted-out from all communications, they will receive a tailored email from Uinsure when the Mortgage case status changes in Smartr365.
