How to add a second applicant to a case with someone who already has a case with a second applicant.

Sometimes you may have a client who has a joint application but wants to open a joint application with someone else. You can add a different second applicant to a new case by following the steps in this guide.

Go to Cases and click mortgages.



Click add new mortgage.



This will show the two applicants that are assigned to the case you can remove the original second applicant by clicking the (x) beside their name, then click the save button. This will create a new case for the main applicant without a second applicant.




You can now open the case page for that new application which will now only have one applicant attached. Click add applicant.




Now you can edit the second applicant's details.



NOTE - If the second applicant already exists on the system you will need to input all of their information as it appears on the system e.g. Name, Surname, Email and phone number will need to be identical to their existing record.

Now click save which will add the new second applicant to the case.
