How to submit to Halifax through SmartrConnect

Once you have completed the Fact-Find within Smartr365 and you are ready to pass this over to the Halifax portal, visit the SmartrConnect page from within your Mortgage Case.

Select ‘Halifax’ from the ‘Lender’ field and select the 'Mortgage Application Type' as DIP Direct’.

The current criteria supported via the integration will appear for you to check if the cases falls within these requirements. Don’t worry if you are unsure as we have automatic validation in place before the submission to alert you should anything not meet the criteria.

Complete any of the additional questions that appear on the page.

When you are ready to submit, click the ‘Submit Application’ button at the bottom of your page.

Smartr365 will automatically check that all fields required from Halifax within your Fact-Find have been completed. If any are missing, these will pop-up on the sidebar for you to complete before the submission can be completed.

Once the submission is completed, the DIP Status will show on the right-hand side of your screen and provide a reference number from Halifax. Note this down so you can select the correct case within the Halifax portal.

 

You can now head over to the HFX intermediaries online page and login as usual.

Click on Mortgage Applications.

You’re then presented with a page where you can search by the application ‘roll number.’ Enter your reference number here.

This will then bring back any applicable applications, selecting the case will then take you to a summary screen where you can then progress your pre-populated case as usual.
