Add Multi Policies and Combination Policies from Solution Builder

We have added several new protection features in Smartr365.

Now you can:

Add Multi Policies and Combination Policies

The Add to Case feature was introduced in April to return single policy recommendations from SolutionBuilder to Smartr365. This feature has now been extended to also return Multi-Policy and Combination recommendations.

Once you have selected the relevant solution in SolutionBuilder, policy, and benefit information and associated documents will be created in Smartr365 for all recommendations.

If you have any further queries about adding multi-policies or combination policies from Solution Builder to your protection cases, read the FAQs below.

FAQs

What do I do if my documents/document pack isn't downloading?

We recommend clicking on Get supporting documents while in Solution Builder as this will prepare the documents for you in Smartr365 faster. If you receive an error that your document/document pack is not available, try clicking away from the page and returning to the Solution Builder Quotes page in Smartr. *Added -> If the Document Pack is not returned, or get the error as the documents aren’t ready, return to the case where Solution Builder was launched, and use Add to Case again, this time only selecting the document pack for the case which requires the documents to be added.

I've just saved a quote in Solution Builder, why can't I see it in Smartr365?

Once you've saved a quote in Solution Builder and you return to Smartr365, you will need to press the view quote button on the case you launched Solution Builder from to see the quote appear in the list. Once you the view quote button has been clicked, the new quote will appear.

I've just saved a multi-policy quote in Solution Builder, how do I add this to a case in Smartr365?

Each policy will be saved as a new case in Smartr365. This is why you will see the policies returned and if more than one, you will see a separate Add to case button for each set of policy data. Once you click on Add to case, the information will be copied across to the protection policy.

Why can't I see all the policies created in Solution Builder?

The case (and clients) which are selected in the dropdown filters which cases you can see in the list view.

If you have a case with a single client selected in the dropdown, you should be able to see -

  • Any cases for that single client
  • Any joint cases that client is part of

If you have a case with joint clients selected in the dropdown, you should be able to see -

  • Any joint cases both of those clients are part of
  • Any single cases linked to the first client in the dropdown

If you have created a case for a second applicant and you cannot see it, you should navigate back to the Cases page and ensure you select the correct client from here. Then you will be able to see any joint cases for that client, or any single cases for that client.

Where should I add additional documentation?

If you need to upload further documentation to cases which have been pulled back from solution builder, it is advised that these are uploaded to the Document Store to the main case used to quote with Solution Builder.
