How to submit to Nationwide through SmartrConnect

Our Nationwide integration will allow you to get your DIP without leaving Smartr365 using the data already found within the Fact-Find and Mortgage case. Once you have your accepted DIP result and are ready to proceed through to application, you can push all data into NFI Online automatically and continue your application from there.

Currently a selection of Client and Case types are supported for submission via this integration. The list can be found here. Smartr365 and Nationwide are working to bring additional Client and Case support through the integration.

Step 1 - ‘Obtain DIP Decision’

Once you have completed your Fact-Find and you are ready to submit to Nationwide, visit the SmartrConnect page from within your Mortgage case.

Select ‘Nationwide’ from the ‘Lender’ field and ‘Obtain DIP Decision’ from the ‘Mortgage Application Type’ field.

There will be a few additional questions for you to complete. These are specific for Nationwide and are required fields before you can submit the application.

Once you have completed all required fields, click ‘Submit Application’.

Smartr365 will then automatically pass over all details of the Client and Case to Nationwide to retrieve a decision. The results of the decision from Nationwide will display on the right side of the screen under ‘Results’.

The result will save against the corresponding case. If you need to display the results again later, return to this SmartrConnect page and select ‘Nationwide’ from the ‘Lender’ field and the Results pane will then display on the right-hand side.

To get the DIP Certificate or make amendments, please move onto Step 2. In doing so, you also have the option to move the case to Reserve Product

Step 2 - ‘Progress Application’

After you have completed Step 1 and retrieved an accepted or refer result, you can now progress with this application through to NFI Online using the pre-population provided by SmartrConnect.

Select ‘Nationwide’ from the ‘Lender’ field and ‘Progress Application’ from the ‘Mortgage Application Type’ field.

Click ‘Submit Application’

Smartr365 will then pass over the reference from the existing DIP result to Nationwide who will then provide a URL for you to launch into NFI Online. The URL will display on the right-hand side in the ‘Results’ pane. Also make note of your reference number from Nationwide as this can be used to locate the pre-populated case on NFI Online. These usually start with "M".

If you need to display the URL again later, return to this SmartrConnect page and select ‘Nationwide’ from the ‘Lender’ field and the Results pane will then display on the right-hand side.

To access your case from within NFI Online, you can search using the 'Search for a case' button and entering your case reference number.
