What is New in Smartr365 Network Reports

Smartr365 Power BI Network Report App is part of our version 3.1 of reports for Network Report built for Mortgage cases. Key features include a simpler interface and faster search for cases such as

  • Pre-built filters for searching Mortgage Cases for Investigations.
  • Mortgage Case information overview by Date and Brokerage which can be filtered and analysed.
  • Mortgage Fees and Lead details on Brokerage level.
  • Export Mortgage Cases into Excel for further analysis.

Note: The Network Report is built for Mortgages and does not contain any “Deleted” cases or “Not Proceeding With” Cases.

1.   Investigations Report

Network Investigations Report Search View

We have created a new search interface on the Smartr365 Insights platform whose function is to allow its users to generate a list of cases for most investigations.

It will be displayed for networks to search mortgage cases. The report page will show the search interface with filters on it. These filters when selected will show then show a table of cases containing all cases requested from a selected date range. 

This view will look as shown below example (we use dummy data for all snapshots shown):

Network Investigations Report Search Options

The new interface allows for 13 different mortgage case-related fields to be used in one easy search tool. Which then switches into a table report applying your filters.

Any not selected or if you are unsure if it is populated, can be left at the ‘All’ option.

Here are the 13 filters in more detail:

 

1.1  Search by Workflow Submitted Date

This field is related to Workflow (previously known as Kanban) Submitted date, which for Mortgages is the ‘Pre-Offer Processing’ date.

You can use either the date fields to select your start and end date range through the calendar drop-down when click on the fields or use the slider highlighted above, to choose the dates shown in the date fields.


1.2  Search by Brokerage Name

This field is related to the Brokerage, once you have filtered by Brokerage, this will affect the drop-down options of several other filters.

1.3 Search by Mortgage Lender Name

This field is related to the Mortgage Lender and can be selected by Brokerage by selecting that field first or across the Network depending on your needs.

Clear filters  - You can quickly clear any previous filters added to any filter, by selecting the eraser symbol, next to the filter name as shown above in orange.

Search in filters  – You can search instead of selecting from the dropdown menu on all text filters. As shown above in orange, all search fields are located at the top of each dropdown.

1.4 Search by Global Case Id

This field is related to the Global Case Id, which is a combination of the Brokerage Id and the Case Id. This is also the Global Id that links the case to the Portal. You can search by the Id number or select the Ids you require.

Brokerage filter – If you select the Brokerage first, then this filter will only show those Global Case Ids related to the Brokerages chosen.

1.5 Search by Introducer Company Name

This field is related to the Introducer Company only, once you have filtered by Company the table report shows both the Introducer Company and Branch.

1.6 Search by Negotiator Name

This field is related to the Negotiator, once you have filtered by Negotiator the table report shows the filtered report based on the Negotiator selected.

1.7 Search by Primary Adviser Name

Adviser connected to the case and does not include Split Adviser (which is still available in the table view as an additional column). This filter selected will affect the other filters on the report if selected first.

 

Brokerage filter – If you select the Brokerage first, then this filter will only show those Primary Adviser related to the Brokerages selected and vice versa.

1.8 Search by Product Type

This field is related to whether it is Mortgages or Protection cases, this will currently show Mortgages only as available. Once Protection reporting is available then you will be able to use this to select either or both products in your search.

1.9 Search by Workflow Status

This field is related to the Workflow (previously known as Kanban) Status only, and not the Platform dates entered for Submitted, Completed and Offer dates.

The list will include Workflow Statuses for all Products.

 

Product filter – once you have filtered by Product Type, the Workflow Status will filter the options available to just those statuses that are related to that product's Workflow on the platform.

1.10 Search by Is Debt Consolidation / Is Vulnerable Client

Both these fields are related to the Boolean field options on the Mortgage case in the platform asking the related questions. They are both True / False flags only.

1.11 Search by Client Surname / Client Date of Birth

Both these client fields are in text format to help with the searches. They also have further fields added in the table view to help expand on their information, including Client Full Name.

Both fields have the search filter at the top to enable searches by typing within that field or you can select by multi-select (HOLD down Ctrl while selecting}

  1.  SEARCH USING CURRENT FILTERS

Once you have selected all the filters required, press the Green Search button

This then changes the report into a table report showing the fields filtered by alongside a few others to help identify the cases required.

 

 

Network Investigations Report Output

The new table report generated uses the 13 different mortgage case-related filters to generate your list of cases.

For example: the report snapshot below, is filtering on the following fields.

Brokerage Name, Product Type, Mortgage Lender Name, and Introducer Company.

Post SEARCH, the following TABLE VIEW of the report shows, using the bottom slider.

Anything selected in Blue below is related to the filters chosen, anything in Purple is additional fields not available in the Filter View. Click the button in Orange to go back.

 

2.  Mortgage Cases Export

This report gives a complete overview of the Mortgage Cases for all the Brokerages which can be exported in excel for further analysis.

  • Export Data to Excel, Sort the Data

When you hover over the table visual on this report page towards the top-right corner of the table, you will see 3 dots depicting More Options.

When you click on the 3 dots, it will give you dropdown options for “Export Data” and “Sort by”.

Then you can export the table data into Excel format and also sort the data within the Power BI table visual.

3.  Mortgage Overview Per Date

This report page gives a complete overview of Mortgage cases for all the Brokerages based on Month-Year Filter selection available on the top

By default, all date filters are selected. But you can select any date range (1 or more) by clicking on the dates.

The selection will filter the data on the screen based on the dates selected.

Key highlights of this report:

  • Mortgage Cases New Lead

Cases which moved into “New Lead” Workflow Status in the selected time filter.

  • Mortgage Cases Submitted

Cases which moved into “Pre-Offer Processing” Workflow Status in the selected time filter.

  • Mortgage Cases Completed

Cases which moved into “Completed” Workflow Status in the selected time filter.

  • Mortgage Proc Fees Submitted

Total Proc Fees Submitted are the total Proc fees for the Mortgage Cases which moved into “Pre-Offer Processing” Workflow Status within the selected Date Range.

  • Total Client Fees Submitted

Total Client Fees Submitted is the total Client fees for the Mortgage Cases which moved into “Pre-Offer Processing” Workflow Status within selected Date Range.

  • Total Mortgage Fees Submitted

Total Mortgage Fees Submitted is the total Mortgage fees for the Mortgage Cases which moved into “Pre-Offer Processing” Workflow Status within selected Date Range.

Total Mortgage Fees = (Total Proc Fees Submitted + Total Client Fees Submitted + Total Miscellaneous Fees Submitted + Total Solicitor Fees Submitted)

  • Number of Cases by Current Workflow Status

This shows the total number of cases based on their current Workflow status within the date range selected.

  • Number of Mortgages Submitted by Buyer Types per Lender

This visual shows the number of clients grouped on the bases of their years left until retirement for all the Buyer Types

  • % Team Mortgage Cases Converted to Submitted

Shows the % of Mortgage Cases which went from New Lead to Submitted State within the date range selected.

  • Top Brokerages by Total Mortgage Proc Fees

This shows all the Brokerages with their individual Proc Fees in box size based on their values in decreasing order.

 

4.  Mortgage Overview by Brokerage

This report page gives a complete overview of Mortgage cases for all the Brokerages based on the Brokerage filter selection available at the top.

By default, all brokerages are selected. But you can select any single or multiple (Control and multi-select) brokerages by clicking on them.

 

The selection will filter the data on the screen based on the brokerages selected.

  • Number of Mortgage Cases Submitted

Cases which moved into “Pre-Offer Processing” Workflow Status for the brokerages selected in filter.

  • Total Mortgage Fees Submitted

Total Mortgage Fees Submitted is the total Mortgage fees for the Mortgage Cases which moved into “Pre-Offer Processing” Workflow Status for the Brokerages selected.

Total Mortgage Fees = (Total Proc Fees Submitted + Total Client Fees Submitted + Total Miscellaneous Fees Submitted + Total Solicitor Fees Submitted)

 

  • Number of Mortgage Cases Completed

Cases which moved into “Completed” Workflow Status for the brokerages selected in the filter.

  • Total Mortgage Fees Completed

Total Mortgage Fees Completed is the total Mortgage fees for the Mortgage Cases which moved into “Completed” Workflow Status for the Brokerages selected.

Total Mortgage Fees = (Total Proc Fees Completed + Total Client Fees Completed + Total Miscellaneous Fees Completed + Total Solicitor Fees Completed)

  • Mortgage Fees Submitted by Workflow Status Submitted Date

Shows the Total Mortgage Fees which is Submitted over the Workflow Submitted Date range for the selected brokerages.

  • Number of Cases by Current Workflow Status

This shows the total number of cases based on their current Workflow status within the date range selected.

  • Total Mortgage Fees Submitted by Business Selected, Buyer Type and Mortgage Type

This visual shows the total Mortgage fees over Mortgage Types and Buyer Type based on Brokerage selected.

  • Top Ten Lenders by Total Mortgage Fees Submitted on Workflow

This visual shows the top 10 lenders in order of their total Mortgage Fees submitted in descending order.

5.  Mortgage Fees Per Brokerage

This report shows a table with the breakdown of mortgage fees per brokerage, both at the submitted and completed workflow statuses. Fees are calculated from those fees entered in the platform, calculated at YTD in the calendar year using the workflow submitted or completed dates.

6. Mortgage Lead Flow Per Brokerage

This report contains:

  • Charts on brokerages for the mortgage New cases (as added on the workflow as a New Lead) and the New Lead cases which are Offer Qualified based on data entered through the platform.

  • Charts depicting Total New Lead Cases calculated YTD(Year to Date) and LY(Last Year) across the week.

When you hover over the bar chart, you can get brokerage-specific breakdowns by clicking on it as shown below.
